A resolution of the Finnish Senate

on the 21th of March 1917

annulling the resolution given by the Imperial Finnish Senate on the 6th of April 1914 concerning raising flags and displaying fireworks on Imperial days of celebration and removal of the portraits of the former Emperor Nicholas II and his family members from office-rooms.


On the authority given to it, the Finnish Senate has regarded it to be good, in view of the fact that the emperor Nikolai II has abdicated the Russian throne, to annul the resolution given by the Imperial Finnish Senate on the 6th of April 1914 concerning raising flags and displaying fireworks on Imperial days of celebration. The Senate similarly gives an order that all official institutions and office-holders have to remove the portraits of the former Emperor and his family members from the office rooms.
